Macor has a long history of ship building as part of a world manufacturer of access equipment, and has existed for more than 50 years.
It is located in Port Autonome de Marseille.
The company, founded in the Fifties under the name of Deutsche MacGregor GMBH co-operated with the various MacGregor national companies, and the International MacGregor Organization was created from this union.
In 1983, with changing market trends, the organisation became a worldwide expert in access equipment, adopting the name of Macor Marine Systems International GMBH.
In the Nineties, Macor Marine joined the Neptun Industrie GMBH group, one of oldest shipbuilders and was known as Macor Neptun GMBH. It is only in May 2004 that Macor Neptun France separated from the group and became Macor France.
To meet its customers needs, Macor has diversified its activities and has acquired a second to none expertise in the study, design, production, installation of equipment, but also gives invaluable advice. Macor has extended its skills while still maintaining a very high quality service.
